Support for Security Companies
Security subcontracting needs clear responsibility between both companies. IBS Protection welcomes enquiries from security providers requiring static-guarding or door-supervisor support in London.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Practical support for your operations.
Security providers, operational managers and companies arranging assignment cover
A separate commercial conversation
A security company arranging cover has different requirements from a venue making a direct booking. We discuss the client-facing responsibilities, who controls the assignment and the terms under which IBS personnel would provide support. Your company’s own requirements and obligations remain important to the arrangement.
We can discuss planned cover or a short-notice requirement, subject to availability. Please include the shift location, start and finish times, activity and number of personnel required. An enquiry or indicative rate does not guarantee that staff are reserved.
A complete shift brief
For static guarding, identify the post, access arrangements and any patrol responsibilities. For door supervision, include the venue setting, admission procedures and duty-manager contact. The scope should make clear which tasks belong to the supplied personnel and which remain with your own team.
Where the venue or main contractor provides equipment, tell us what is available and what training or permission is needed. Uniform, presentation, handover and reporting expectations should be agreed before the assignment rather than left for the officer to discover on arrival.
Communication between companies
We discuss the operational contact for each company, how instructions are issued and how concerns are escalated. A clear handover protects the working relationship and gives personnel a defined route for clarification. The brief should also explain the relevant site or venue procedures.
Zello Work is used for IBS operational coordination. Any requirement to join a venue or main contractor’s communication arrangement needs to be agreed. We do not assume that sharing an application automatically establishes who is responsible for an operational decision.
Commercial terms and minimum hours
Subcontract assignments have an eight-hour minimum. Pricing is agreed separately from the website’s direct-client guide and depends on the shift, activity and conditions. Holiday work, special requirements and availability may affect the quotation. Submit the brief to request the applicable commercial rate.
Our direct-booking confirmation lead time should not be treated as an unconditional short-notice subcontracting guarantee. The team must expressly accept the shift and terms. If your company works under a particular approval scheme or contractual restriction, identify it before the arrangement is agreed.
Prepare your enquiry
Include the service, exact location, dates, shift times and the responsibilities you have in mind. Add the estimated number of officers if known. The team will clarify the requirements with you; the website does not determine staffing or confirm a booking.
