IBS PROTECTION · EAST & CENTRAL LONDON
Standards in practice.
Clarity at every stage.
Professional security depends on clear responsibilities, suitable people and communication that fits the assignment. This is how we approach the discussion with our clients.

A clear brief comes first.
We discuss the setting, times, duties and person responsible for the assignment. The brief needs to explain what the team is being asked to do and how the work relates to the venue or event manager.
For example, an officer checking invitations needs a clear admission process and a named person who can resolve a guest-list question.
Coordination with your venue
We discuss the procedures relevant to the assignment and the manager or operational contact who can provide instructions. Access arrangements, communication and escalation are part of this conversation.
For example, if an entrance becomes busy, the team needs to know who can adjust the admission process and how to contact them. A security presence should work with the venue’s plan.
Zello Work communication
IBS Protection uses Zello Work for operational coordination. Zello Work encrypts communications; channel messages are encrypted between users and Zello’s servers. The protection applied to direct messages also depends on the network configuration.
For example, the officer at an entrance can communicate an operational update to the team. This does not mean that every radio, venue system, website enquiry or external conversation uses the same encryption.
Equipment chosen for the assignment
Professional recording equipment, metal detectors and equipment supplied by a venue can be considered where appropriate. Equipment selection follows the brief, permissions and competence needed for the activity.
For example, a metal detector may form part of an agreed admission procedure. Its use needs to fit the venue’s approach and the available space; it does not by itself establish a complete security plan.
Individual training and company status
Training documents supplied for Iosif Fulep show Health and Safety Awareness completed on 16 August 2023 and Cyber Security Best Practices completed on 17 August 2023. These describe individual training completed on those dates.
An individual training certificate is different from a current role-specific licence or a company accreditation. This page does not claim that IBS Protection is ISO certified or an SIA Approved Contractor. Use of a technology provider does not transfer its certifications to IBS.
Information handled with care
Start confidential enquiries with a general outline. Detailed personal information, recordings or allegations about other people should be discussed through an appropriate route agreed with the team.
For example, the initial form can say that you wish to discuss an investigation. It does not need names, identity documents or a complete case history to arrange that conversation.

Understand the process.
Read our explanations of door supervision, event security and investigations. Each service begins with a discussion of the actual requirements.
